Emam hails from Anchal in Kollam district where he was born to late Thajudeen a retired government employee, and Rafeeca Beevi, a homemaker. From an early age, as a stage performer, he actively participated in cultural events, including mimicry, singing and public speaking and emerged as a university-level performer in mimicry later on in life. He also performed in Aakashavani Radio. After schooling, he did his graduation from St John’s College, Anchal, after which he pursued a degree in Law from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia College of Law, Bangalore University. As a student, he was involved in campus politics and held several responsible positions.
Soon after graduation, he founded and successfully managed a well-known parallel coaching institution in Anchal, offering academic support up to graduation level.

Career Graph
Emam was the legal advisor of Medicity Group from 2004 to 2006 and he was also with Sabarigiri Group of Institutions in the same capacity and was CEO of the group’s Paramedical College. His stint with the Sultanate of Oman began way back in 2007 when he joined Future Plastics LLC as Business Head. In 2010, he joined Styro Insulation Materials in Dubai as Sales Manager for the Sultanate of Oman. From 2013 to 2016, he was with Al Rafa International, which is a branch of Dubai-based Bin Naser UAE Group & Al Bawadi Metal Industries Dubai. He also served as GCC Country Manager with KBE Gulf LLC from 2016 to 2020. From 2020 to 2023, he served as Divisional Manager of Trade Link and Services in charge of Building Materials Division. From 2023 to 2024, he was with Al Jassar LLC as HVAC and Building Materials Division Manager. Parallelly, he remained actively engaged in the legal sector, offering guidance and support—especially to distressed expatriates in Oman.
Currently, he is the Managing Partner of Al Reef United LLC Debt Recovery and Advisory, a legal debt collection firm associated with Hilal Al Sabqi Law Firm. Emam is well-versed and regularly updated in Oman’s legal framework, and he also functions as a Business Advisor, Counsellor and Educational Mentor.

He is married to Thahiyath, who is an Engineering graduate in Electronics and Communication with two years of work experience with ANERT under the Kerala Government and six years as Insurance Coordinator at Badr Al Samaa Hospital. She is also an expert in craft and henna designs. Their son Anfal Mohammed is a BTech student in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Rajadhani College of Engineering in Thiruvananthapuram. He is a stage performing artist as a singer. They also have a daughter Fathima Nasrin who is in Class VII at ISM.
Emam is passionate about singing and mimicry. He was a stage performer who led his own troupe in performing at numerous cultural events, including temple festivals and prestigious programmes such as the World Malayalee Association Annual Celebration at Bolgatty Palace in Kochi and in the presence of late T N Seshan, former Chief Election Commissioner and renowned Malayalam cine artist Madhu. He also acted in television serials such as ‘Pakida Pakida Pamparam’ with Tom Jacob, late Kochu Preman and several other stars.
He has been consistently involved in social service and charitable activities in both Kerala and Muscat, a commitment he continues with pride. As a motivational speaker and law instructor, he conducted seminars and delivered lectures at colleges and distance education centres affiliated with the University of Kerala. Emam is also handling the Legal Helpdesk of the Ruwi Malayalee Association and is involved in social causes as well.
