From modest beginnings in Kerala to leading one of Oman’s most trusted electrical engineering enterprises, Rajkumar K’s journey is a testament to perseverance, adaptability, and vision. As Managing Director of Talent Electric Services SAOC, he has played a defining role in shaping the company into a respected and recognized name in medium and low voltage switchgear manufacturing and electrical services.
Born in Kunnamkulam, Thrissur district of Kerala, Rajkumar grew up in a business-oriented household. His early exposure to entrepreneurship instilled in him a strong work ethic and a practical understanding of commerce. After completing his Pre-Degree studies at Vivekananda College, he began his professional life assisting in his family’s stationery business.
In 1993, Rajkumar took his first step abroad, joining National Packaging in Dubai. A brief industrial stint in Pune with Cipy Polyurethanes further broadened his experience before he arrived in Oman in 1996, a move that would define his career. Since joining Talent Electric Services LLC in 2003, he has been instrumental in its meteoric growth, culminating in the company’s establishment as a leading switchgear panel builder in the Sultanate of Oman.
Under his leadership, Talent Electric has expanded its manufacturing footprint, invested in world class facilities, forged international partnerships with global brands, and delivered critical infrastructure projects across Oman. Talent Electric Services operates advanced manufacturing facilities in Barka and Samail industrial areas of Oman, delivering electrical engineering solutions across the Oman’s industry spectrum. The company has achieved all major certifications and approvals from the various government and regulatory authorities in Oman including the The Most Value Vendor of NAMA- 2024 and the Award for Excellence in Electrosafety Solutions at the Business Leadership Forum- 2025. Guided by principles of quality, safety, integrity, and trust, Rajkumar continues to power progress, consistently and with conviction making a difference in the electrical industry landscape of Oman.
Proliferating his entrepreneurial interests, Rajkumar also has diversified business interests in Africa in the field of precious metals. Back in India he also owns the Rajaprastham Convention Centre in Thirumatticode, Kerala, one of the largest convention centres in the Pattambi–Shoranur belt hosting various functions and community events.
