A chip off the old block, he has inherited the entrepreneurial skills of his father and is taking the enterprise to greater heights armed with his modern outlook, tenacity and zest to explore new horizons.
Donning the Mantle of a Businessman
Hailing from Venjarammoodu in Thiruvananthapuram district in Kerala, Sajin was born to G Sahadevan, a businessman based in the Sultanate, and Thankachy Sahadevan, a homemaker. Sajin grew up in Muscat and his schooling was in Indian School Muladha. In fact, his father came to Oman way back in 1985 and started his career with the Al Rajhi Group. He bagged a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Garden City College, Bengaluru, before putting on the mantle of a businessman. It was in 2007 that he took over the reins of business from his father and thus began the saga of Al Sawah Building Materials towards greater growth.

As the Managing Director of Al Sawah, Sajin ensures that quality matters when it comes to taking forward his company and establishing a name for itself in the construction industry. That is one reason why his firm has established itself as the wholesale and retail supplier of a whole gamut of top quality construction solutions, including plumbing and electrical fittings, of prestigious brands from around the world.

Al Sawah, which has branches in Musannah and Mabelah, has all types of fittings and equipment for buildings and construction industry under one roof. They are the official distributors of Techno PPR pipes and fittings, the first manufacturer of pipes of this category in Oman. Sajin attributes his success to his spouse, Vrinda, and they have three children. The eldest son, Sriram, is a Class II student, the second child, Srinandan is in KG-2, and the youngest child is Sridev. Sajin, who loves reading and travelling, is active with the Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana Yogam, a social service organisation associated with the Ezhava community.
