Sudheer Chandroth

Grown up in a household that valued education and discipline, Sudheer Chandroth developed qualities of focus and responsibility that guided his path and defined the trajectory of his success. Born in Vadakara, Kozhikode, Kerala, to Anandan Chandroth and Nalini Thazhe Purayil, both are retired teachers he inherited a strong sense of purpose and commitment from an early age.
After completing the Diploma in Electronics Engineering at Polytechnic College, Sudheer began his career with Indian Telephone Industries (ITI), a Government of India enterprise in Palakkad. He joined as a Technical Assistant and rose to the position of Assistant Engineer, Grade I. Over more than two decades at ITI, he contributed to design and development initiatives that strengthened the organisation’s capabilities. His efforts were recognised when the company’s Chairman and Managing Director honoured him with the Best Achievement Award.



After two decades in India, Sudheer moved to Oman to join National Telephone Services Company (NTS), one of the Sultanate’s largest and most diversified enterprises in the communications sector, as a Senior Engineer. NTS has played a pivotal role in building the nation’s telecom infrastructure through turnkey projects, networking solutions, fire and security systems, software development, and telecom product distribution. Its wide client base includes telecom operators, banks, ministries, oil companies, hospitality, education, healthcare, and retail sectors, all of which rely on the company’s reputation for reliability and timely delivery.


During this period, Sudheer pursued his Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering Technology from West Coast University-Panama. To strengthen his professional expertise, he also earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential from the Project Management Institute (USA) in 2012. Over the course of his career, he also undertook specialised training with several leading global telecom firms, honing both skill and talent.

At NTS, Sudheer progressed through a series of leadership roles. After a decade of consistent performance, he was promoted to Senior Management role and later Divisional Head. Since 2020, he has been serving as Head of the Data Services Division, overseeing critical operations that support the company’s diverse clients. Under his leadership, the division has enhanced its ability to deliver value-added services, network solutions, and Data Connectivity Solutions, helping public and private sector organisations adapt to the demands of the digital age while maintaining the standards of efficiency and quality for which NTS is well known.


Social & Community Services
In parallel with his professional career, Sudheer has been deeply engaged in community and cultural initiatives. He is a Global Executive Committee member of the World Malayali Federation (WMF) and serving as the organisation’s Global IT& HR Coordinator. WMF is a global organisation that spans more than 166 countries and holds accreditation with Norka Roots, the Government of Kerala’s department dedicated to the welfare of Non-Resident Keralites. Through this platform, Sudheer has worked to connect Malayalis across the globe in cultural, social, and charitable activities. Sudheer also serves as General Secretary of Vatakara Sahruda Vedhi-Oman, a community group that fosters camaraderie and cultural bonds among expatriates from his hometown. The organistaion was started in 2014 and currently have more than 450 members and their families staying in Sultanate of Oman





Family
Behind his professional and community commitments stands a close-knit family. His wife, Seena T.E., holds a B.Sc. in Zoology and a B.Ed. and worked as Teacher in Palghat District Together they have raised two sons who are both pursuing promising careers. Their elder son, Abhiram Chandroth, earned an MBA from M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Management Studies, Bangalore, and is currently working as a Senior Marketplace QA specialist at Fever. Their younger son, Adithyan Chandroth, graduated with a BBA from Kristu Jayanti College, Bangalore, and now works as a Marketplace QA Specialist at Fever, a global live-entertainment discovery platform, based in India.



Hobbies and Interests
Even with a demanding professional schedule, Sudheer dedicates time to his personal interests; including oil painting, pencil drawing, reading, and social work. These pursuits complement his technical work and provide insights that inform his professional and community contributions. From his early years in Kerala to his leadership role in Oman, Sudheer Chandroth’s life demonstrates the integration of expertise, dedication, and social responsibility. His achievements in telecommunications, IT, alongside sustained involvement in art, culture, and community initiatives, reflect a commitment that extends beyond the workplace and makes a meaningful impact on the wider society.
