Thajudheen K.A

Administration Director, MMB Trading
Convenor, Malayalam Wing – Indian Social Club

Hailing from Mavelikkara in Alappuzha district, Kerala, Thajudheen K.A. is a respected professional and community leader whose life journey has been defined by enterprise, cultural stewardship, and social commitment. Thajudheen’s early education included a Diploma in Pharmacy, but his interests quickly expanded beyond academics into social work and cultural coordination, passions that continue to guide his life today.

His professional path began in Kerala in the mid-1980s, where he ventured into diverse businesses including a medical shop, a bakery, and the hotel sector (1986–1990). Seeking wider horizons, he moved to Saudi Arabia, where he worked for two years before moving to Oman to chart a more stable career.
In 1992, he joined MMB Trading, where he continues to serve as administrative director to this day. With more than three decades of experience, Thajudheen has specialized in cargo clearance, imports, exports, forwarding, and transportation, fields in which he has built strong credibility and trust. His long-standing career is a testament to his determination, professional skill, and ability to adapt to changing times.

Of course, his early grooming by his father, the late Mr.Abdul Azeez, a businessman, and his mother, the late Fatima Begum, a homemaker, had a deep impact on his personality. He inherited both a spirit of hard work and a deep sense of responsibility to society.

Cultural and Social Leadership
Alongside his professional achievements, Thajudheen has remained deeply rooted in cultural life. From a young age, he has been associated with organizations such as Keli, Mavelikkara, where he remains an active member, and the Mavelikkara Poura Samithi, where he served as Secretary. These early experiences shaped his commitment to cultural preservation and communal unity.
This passion found its fullest expression when he became part of the Malayalam Wing of the Indian Social Club, Muscat, a unique platform representing the Malayali diaspora. Since its founding in 1996, the Wing has become a vibrant socio-cultural organization with thousands of members, and Thajudheen has been one of its driving forces.

His leadership journey within the organization reflects his consistency and dedication: he was first elected as an executive member in 2001 (entertainment & sports), went on to serve as Co-convenor (2002, 2011, 2012, 2015 & 2016), then as Cultural Secretary (2005 to 2008), and now returns as Convenor for the term 2025–2026. Through these roles, he has played an integral part in strengthening the wing’s cultural and welfare footprint in Oman.
The Malayalam Wing of ISC has become known for landmark celebrations such as Onam, Keralotsavam, Kalolsavam, Ladies’ Day, Children’s Day, and Sports Day, events that blend heritage with inclusivity. Programmes like Ente Keralam quiz competitions, payasam festivals, and curated art exhibitions have kept Kerala’s traditions alive among younger generations in Oman. Two prestigious recognitions, the Cultural Award and the Literary Award, stand as testimony to the Wing’s role as a custodian of excellence.

Beyond cultural expression, the organization has championed social responsibility through blood donation drives, welfare initiatives for expatriates, and humanitarian relief in times of crisis. It has consistently upheld inclusivity, organizing Iftar gatherings during Ramadan and engaging with other communities in Oman, while always respecting the Sultanate’s cultural values and laws.
Through his leadership, Thajudheen has helped shape the wing into not just a cultural organization, but a thriving social movement guided by Shree Narayana Guru’s timeless vision: “Oru Jathi, Oru Matham, Oru Daivam Manushyanu” (One Caste, One Religion, One God for Man).

Personal Life:

Behind his achievements stands a supportive family. His wife, Naseema Thajudheen, is a homemaker. They are blessed with two accomplished daughters. Their elder daughter, Shahana Thajudheen, is ACCA and IATA qualified, and is married to Riyas Muhammed, a civil engineer based in Dubai. They are blessed with two kids: daughter Airah Zehak Riyas, and son Aizan Lahiz Riyas.

Their younger daughter, Jahana Thajudheen, holds a B.Tech in Civil Engineering and is settled in Muscat with her husband, Najim Jamal, a civil engineer and entrepreneur in interior design.

Their success reflects the values of education, perseverance, and cultural grounding that Thajudheen and his family hold dear.
From his early days in Mavelikkara to his present role as convenor of the Malayalam Wing in Oman, Thajudheen K.A. has consistently demonstrated that leadership is about service, cultural pride, and community empowerment, at the same time strengthening his career. Whether steering professional excellence in international trade and logistics or leading cultural and welfare programmes for the Malayali diaspora, his journey is one of dedication and balance.
With his active social roles, Thajudheen continues to embody the spirit of a true cultural ambassador, one who builds bridges of belonging, unity, and compassion across borders.
