K.C. Abraham
General Manager,
Skyline International LLC, Oman
From the quiet rubber plantations of Piravom to the bustling construction sites of Muscat, K.C. Abraham’s journey is nothing short of extraordinary. The son of a farmer and homemaker, he grew up helping his father tap rubber before school, never imagining he would one day found one of Oman’s most trusted contracting companies. Today, as the founder and General Manager of Skyline International LLC, Abraham stands as a symbol of grit, vision, and generosity. A man shaped by humble beginnings and driven by an unyielding determination, Abraham has not only carved a place for himself in Oman’s construction industry but has also remained deeply rooted in philanthropy and human compassion.
Born into a modest family in Piravom, a small town in Kerala’s Ernakulam district, Abraham was the youngest of three siblings. His father, Chandy, worked as a farmer, while his mother, Aily, was a homemaker. Life was far from easy; financial struggles meant that both his elder brother and sister had to leave their studies early. Abraham, however, had a different resolve. He balanced the rigors of education with household responsibilities, often helping his father with rubber tapping before setting off for school.
He attended St. Paul’s High School in Piravom, and despite the family’s hardships, managed to complete his schooling. His persistence carried him further into higher education. He pursued his graduation at Devaswom Board College, Thalayolaparambu, before enrolling at the Kottayam Polytechnic, where he earned a diploma in Civil Engineering.
Armed with his technical qualifications, Abraham sought opportunities beyond Kerala. In 1989, he began his professional journey in Muscat, joining Khalifa Said Trading and Contracting, where he worked for four formative years. Those early days introduced him to the mechanics of the Gulf construction industry, instilling in him the discipline and adaptability required to succeed.
In 1992, Abraham joined Zubair Construction, one of Oman’s leading firms, where he served in the engineering department until 1996. The experience provided him with exposure to larger, more complex projects, sharpening his technical skills and expanding his network.
From 1996 to 2002, he was associated with Saif Al Harrasi – Burj Oman, serving in senior roles for six years. Then came another career milestone in 2004, when he moved to Abu Al Motaz Trading, where he was involved in significant contracts with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO). These years of steady progression not only strengthened his technical expertise but also gave him insight into business operations, client relations, and leadership.
By 2008, with nearly two decades of industry experience, Abraham was ready to take the leap into entrepreneurship. He founded Skyline International LLC, a company that began modestly but quickly established itself as a formidable name in Oman’s construction and electromechanical contracting sector.
Under Abraham’s leadership, Skyline grew into an Excellent Grade Civil & Electromechanical contracting company, certified by ISO standards and approved by key government and defense authorities. With a workforce of over 200 employees and more than 30 senior associates, Skyline has completed over 350 projects across Oman, with four major ones currently in progress. Its client list reads like a who’s who of Omani industry—Oman Oil, Al Maha, OOMCO, Pepsi/Oman Refreshment Company, Muscat Bay, Oman Cement, Voltamp, Abraj Energy Services, Royal Airforce of Oman/RAFO, MODES/Ministry of Defense, Modern Diary Factory, Sohar University, Grace catalyst Lab, Ministry of Higher Education/MOHE,Trade Link Services, Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Ghala and Even with Oil and Gas gaint M/s Lufkin and Partners etc

Its portfolio includes a modern dairy farm and the prestigious Commercial Building at Sultan Qaboos University (Phase 2) in Al Khoud.
Skyline’s reputation is built on its ability to deliver projects on time, without compromising on safety or quality. This commitment has been recognized with multiple awards, including the OOMCO Best Performer Award (2019) and consecutive HSEQ Awards for Safety in 2019 ,2020 and 2024.
As the General Manager, Abraham remains deeply involved in the day-to-day functions of the company. Colleagues describe him as a man of ideals who balances strategic foresight with practical management. His leadership has shaped Skyline’s culture of integrity, professionalism, and client-first service.
While Mr. Ahmed Sulaiman Hamed Al Gharaibi serves as the Sponsor and Chairman, ensuring the highest standards of corporate governance, it is Abraham’s vision and operational acumen that have directed the company’s growth for over 17 years.
Success in business has never distanced Abraham from his roots. A man deeply committed to humanitarian causes, he has used his resources to bring tangible change to lives back home in Kerala. Over the years, he has built 32 houses for the poor, offering families the dignity of a roof over their heads.
His philanthropy extends into healthcare. Every month, he provides ₹5,000 in financial aid to several cancer patients in his village. He has supported the education of five nursing students, enabling them to secure careers in healthcare. For over a decade, Abraham has also been running a quiet but impactful initiative in Vellur, where ten free meals are made available every day for those in need, placed in a cabin for easy access.
He is an active member of the World Malayalee Federation and a supporter of the Kidney Federation of India, founded by Fr. Davis Chiramel—popularly known as the “Kidney Priest.” Abraham’s philanthropy is not about publicity; it is about values instilled early in life, values that remind him of the hardships he himself once endured.
Behind the successful businessman and philanthropist is a devoted family man. Abraham is married to Kumari Sunny Abraham, who has been a constant source of support through his journey. Together, they have raised two accomplished children.
Their elder daughter, Dr. Tintu Abraham, holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from Pondicherry University and now resides in Canada with her husband, Eldo Mathew, an IT professional. The couple has two children—Don Mathew, aged 10, and Daphne Mathew, aged 3.
Their second daughter, Dr. Sony Abraham did MBBS from Father Muller Medical College, Manglore and MD- from YALE University, Connecticut ,USA
presently working as Asst. Professor and clinical service at UT Health San Antonio, Texas, USA. The achievements of his children reflect the values of education and hard work that Abraham himself has lived by.
Today, as Skyline International LLC celebrates more than 17 years of growth, Abraham’s journey stands as a testament to the power of resilience and vision. From tapping rubber trees in his childhood to leading a company that shapes the infrastructure of Oman, his story is nothing short of inspirational.
He is a rare blend of successful entrepreneur and compassionate philanthropist, proving that true success is not measured by profits alone, but by the lives one touches along the way.
For K.C. Abraham, the skyline he has built in Oman is not just of concrete and steel—it is also of hope, opportunity, and service. His legacy continues to rise, much like the structures he has built, leaving behind a foundation of integrity, generosity, and unwavering determination.
