People often look at a successful company and see its trucks, equipment, offices, contracts, and assets. They see what the company has today, but rarely see how it began.

Four Moon did not begin with millions in the bank, a large fleet, wealthy investors, or substantial capital. It began with something far more important: a dream, years of experience, the courage to take risks, the willingness to work hard, and the determination to keep going when giving up would have been easier.

This is not simply the story of how I built a company. It is the story of how hard work, failure, sacrifice, experience, and persistence turned a small beginning into something I once could only imagine.

Where My Journey Began

I was born and raised in Salalah, Oman, and completed my schooling at Indian School Salalah. After higher secondary school, I travelled to Kerala, India, where I completed my Bachelor of Commerce at Marian College Kuttikkanam, Idukki, followed by my MBA at Toc H Institute of Science and Technology, Ernakulam.

College gave me more than an education. It shaped my understanding of business, leadership, responsibility, and relationships. It was also at Marian College that I met Silpa, who would later become my wife and life partner—the person who would stand beside me through failure, uncertainty, sacrifice, growth, and success.

At that time, there was no Four Moon, no fleet, no equipment, and no million-rial assets. There was simply a young man with ambition and a dream of building something of his own.

Learning Through Work

In 2011, I began my professional career as a Junior Accountant with a construction company in Salalah. I started from the bottom, learned by working, accepted greater responsibilities, and gradually progressed to become Chief Accountant and Purchase Manager.

Those years taught me an important lesson: before you can build a company, you must build yourself.

In 2016, I resigned and, within two months, joined Oman Industries Gypsum (OIG) as General Manager. I had no previous mining experience, so I had to learn everything from the ground up. I spent long days and nights working in the desert, learning mining operations, logistics, transportation, equipment management, industrial services, and the gypsum business.

There were no shortcuts. Every difficult day was giving me experience that would later become invaluable when I started my own company.

Failure Was Part of My Education

Alongside my career, I attempted several small businesses with friends because the dream of becoming an entrepreneur never left me. Those businesses did not succeed.

The failures were difficult, but my job gave me the stability to withstand them, learn from my mistakes, and continue. Today, I consider those failures some of the most valuable lessons of my life. They taught me patience, financial discipline, risk management, humility, and resilience.

I learned that failure is expensive only when you learn nothing from it. Every unsuccessful attempt was preparing me to make better decisions when the right opportunity finally arrived.

The Birth of Four Moon

In 2023, I founded Four Moon Trading & Investment with very limited financial resources but complete faith in the vision. We did not have the capital to purchase a large fleet or heavy equipment, so instead of waiting until we had enough money, I asked myself a different question:

“What can I do with what I have today?”

I had industry experience, knowledge, relationships, an understanding of the market, and most importantly, the willingness to work.

Our first business model was simple. Since we could not afford to purchase trucks and equipment, we hired them from local owners and supplied them to companies under monthly contracts. My colleagues and I handled almost everything ourselves—from customers and vehicle coordination to equipment arrangements, breakdowns, payments, site issues, negotiations, and daily operations.

We worked day and night. When there was a problem, we found a solution. When there was an opportunity, we chased it. When something went wrong, we learned from it and kept moving.

Hard work became our capital.

Our experience became our capital. Our relationships became our capital. Our reputation became our capital. Our customers’ trust became our capital. And every opportunity we earned was reinvested into building the company.

We did not concentrate on looking big. We concentrated on becoming strong.

From Hired Trucks to Million-Rial Assets

Slowly, one truck became several, one customer led to another, and one project opened the door to a larger opportunity. We began purchasing our own trucks, then heavy equipment, and continued reinvesting into the company.

Today, At September 2026 after two years of hard work Four Moon owns 25 trucks and 10 heavy equipment units, while more than 100 contracted trucks operate under our management. Our activities have expanded into mining operations, logistics, road construction, excavation, workshop and industrial services, heavy equipment operations, and international trade.

We export raw gypsum, gypsum powder, and limestone internationally by sea and transport materials overland to the UAE. Our presence has expanded beyond Salalah, with corporate offices in Muscat and the United Arab Emirates. What began with very limited capital has grown into a business with assets valued in the millions of Omani rials.

I am proud of those numbers, but I am more proud of what they represent. Every truck represents work. Every machine represents reinvestment. Every contract represents trust. Every expansion represents another calculated risk we had the courage to take.

We did not use millions to build Four Moon. We used hard work to build something worth millions.

My Four Moons

The name Four Moon is deeply personal to me. My four children are my Four Moons. They are the inspiration behind the company name and four of the greatest reasons I continue to work hard, dream bigger, and move forward through every challenge.

When I see the Four Moon name on our trucks, equipment, offices, and documents, I see more than a business. I see my children, my purpose, and four reasons to rise after every setback.

My dream is not simply to leave my children money or assets. I want to leave them an example—a legacy built on hard work, integrity, courage, perseverance, humility, and respect. I want them to know that their father started with very little and built step by step through work and determination.

That is the legacy I want Four Moon to represent.

A Journey Built Together

No journey like this is completed alone. My wife, Silpa, has been my constant source of strength and support. She believed in the dream before Four Moon became a company, stood beside me through failures and uncertainty, and supported me through the long working days and sacrifices that others did not always see.

I am equally grateful to my team, who believed in the vision, accepted responsibility, solved problems, worked through difficult days, and helped transform a small idea into a growing organisation. I am also grateful to our customers, suppliers, and business partners who trusted us and gave us opportunities.

I may have started with the dream, but we built Four Moon together.

Start With What You Have

If my journey carries one message for anyone who dreams of becoming an entrepreneur, it is this: do not spend your life waiting for perfect conditions.

You may not have enough money, investors, an office, trucks, or equipment. You may fail the first time, and you may fail more than once. But you may have knowledge, experience, skills, relationships, or simply the willingness to work harder than the person next to you.

Start There

Use what you have. Learn what you do not know. Work when others are waiting. Build trust before chasing profit. Reinvest before celebrating. Stay humble when things go well, learn when things go wrong, and keep moving forward.

The distance between almost nothing and something extraordinary is rarely crossed in one giant leap. It is crossed through thousands of ordinary days of extraordinary commitment.

The Journey Ahead

Four Moon has come a long way since 2023, but I do not consider what we have achieved to be the destination. I consider it the foundation for what comes next.

My vision is to build Four Moon into a respected regional organisation known not only for logistics, mining, equipment, industrial services, and international trade, but also for trust, reliability, professionalism, and opportunity. I want our company to create employment, support communities, contribute to the economies in which we operate, and inspire other entrepreneurs who may be starting with very little.

Four Moon taught me that you do not have to be wealthy to begin; you have to be willing to begin. You do not need to own everything on the first day; you need to know how to create value with what you have. And you do not need a perfect journey; you need the courage to continue through an imperfect one.

I started with a small opportunity, years of experience, lessons from failure, a hardworking team, a wife who believed in me, four children who gave the dream its name, and an unwillingness to give up.

Today, that dream has become a company with assets valued in the millions of Omani rials.

But the greatest achievement is not the value of those assets.

It is knowing how we built them.

Not by starting with millions, but by starting with hard work.

My four children. My Four Moons. My purpose. My legacy.

And we are only getting started.
