A Journey That Began in Vadakara
Sreejith is from Edacheri North in Kozhikode’s Vadakara, where he was born as the son of Kelappan and Narayani. It was in 2003 that he reached Oman, where he worked in the fabrication industry for five years. The entrepreneur within him surfaced in 2009 when he started Al Senad with 10 staff. It deals with aluminium fabrication and casting.
This professional manufacturing entity produces various kinds of wrought aluminium and iron products that properly integrate the classical and contemporary styles. Sreejith has installed advanced equipment and sources top grade materials to craft a whole array of products using experienced manpower. The products include balcony railings, outdoor enclosures, stair handrails, safety grills, windows, luxury court gates, fencing, stainless steel handrails, and indoor and outdoor furniture.
The firm’s aluminium casting art is a perfect combination of tradition and modern designs. With the right blend of aesthetics and countless choices, customers are spoilt for choice. This ensures that the company stays ahead in the race and ensures the satisfaction of clients.
In addition to major projects such as the Palace Airport under the Government of Oman, in recent years, Al Senad’s products of international standards have become popular in Asian and European countries as well.
Houwind Makes an Entry
Always looking for avenues to expand the business, sreejith and an omani citizen started a new shop named Houwind in Salalah in 2023 that specialises in importing and installing some of the best sound-proof and energy-efficient doors and windows. This was done after he realised the growing significance of energy efficiency and noise management in commercial and residential buildings.
As many customers and property owners are grappling with issues such as extreme heat, persistent noise, and inferior quality, Sreejith decided to import high quality doors and windows from Germany and Turkey. The other products include kitchen cabinets, staircases, and glass partitions.
Diversification
Sreejith also believes in diversification to ensure the smooth running of his business. He runs Al Esnad Supermarket in Sadah, and he also has 30 coffee shops under the Famous brand across Oman. They are manned by more than 250 employees. Currently, plans are afoot to expand its footprint to India as well.
Passion and Family
A football fan, Sreejith used to own Sanad FC. He also supports several charitable initiatives. He is married to Shini, and they have three children. The elder one, Yashin Jith, is in Class XII while the second kid Fiyona, is in Class VII and the youngest Vamika is in LKG
