A maven in the field of Information Technology with 38 years of experience in IT Support, Mentoring, and Advisory, Tomy Paul was with Bahwan IT of the Suhail Bahwan Group for 23 years in the Sultanate of Oman. Under his stewardship, national projects such as the Majlis Al Shura, Oman Beach Olympics, National PC Initiative by the IT Authority were executed. Currently, he is the Strategic Advisor-Business Development at Securado LLC. He is also very much active in social circles and is at the vanguard of several charitable initiatives to lend a helping hand to the marginalised and less fortunate.
A Journey That Began in Mookkannur
Tomy belongs to Mookkannur in Angamaly in Ernakulam District, where he was born to the late Paulose and the late Mariam. He has a degree in Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Tomy handled several responsibilities in Oman during his career that stretched to almost 30 years.
Currently, he is the Strategic Advisor of Securado LLC, which has a decade of experience in delivering cloud and cybersecurity services. This ISO 27001 organisation is accredited by the Omani government, and it is the single-stop shop for cloud and cybersecurity solutions. It has insured over 150 customers, and each delighted client has an average of seven repeat engagements. The portfolio comprises government and private sectors, Banking, Education, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, and Retail.
This tech genius is also the Vice-President of Sequantix, a company that bridges the gap between cutting-edge technology and real business impact. Armed with a team of industry veterans, AI specialists and cloud experts, it helps firms adopt AI confidently no matter what their status is. It brings together AI and real-world application and helps companies streamline processes, minimise skill gaps, and discover new market value with scalable solutions. In short, it is a strategic transformation partner that provides businesses with insights, tools, and agility to compete in the GenAI era.
He is also the partner of Neuvotech Systems LLP, which is the IT division of the Kochi-based Bell Foods Group. This digital transformation partner for business growth provides E-Commerce Application Development, ERP solutions, website designing and mobile applications development, and helps train talented individuals to master Blockchain, IoT, AI, Cybersecurity, and Digital Transformation services.
Tomy is also the Director of Bell Primax LLP, the logistics division of Bell Foods Group. It has a cold storage facility in Chandiroor in Alappuzha District, having a capacity of 1,000 metric tonnes, making it one of the largest of its kind in the region. They export frozen seafood products via the Vallarpadom Container Terminal in Kochi.
Making Inroads in Versatility
It would not be wrong to call Tomy a versatile person as he straddles both the entrepreneurial world and philanthropy, and also gives vent to his passion for movies. Actively involved in social and charitable causes, Tomy runs a charity group called CARINGHUT, which connects people to serve the needy. He has supported more than 25 families through this initiative in 2025. He was also associated with the activities of the Missionaries of Charity congregation established by Mother Teresa in Kolkata for many years.
Tomy has conducted, coordinated, and participated in many social and cultural activities of various communities in Oman and India. He is also the mentor and motivator for many and has been associated with the Indian Embassy to support the Outpass process to repatriate expatriates who lack valid documents. He is also a certified trainer for Marriage Preparation and Family Enrichment Programmes and is an active member of the Sts. Peter & Paul Church, Ruwi, Oman.
A lover of movies, Tomy is associated with Film Production (Muscat Movie Makers) and the maiden movie was ‘Vishesham’ which was released in 2024. He was recognised for his assistance as a Project Manager during the production of the movie, which was directed by Sooraj Tom. The second movie “DOSE” is released in 2026. He is deeply connected with the expatriate Indian community and independent film circles in Muscat,
Tomy received the Employee of the Year and Best Employee Award from the Late Sheikh Suhail Bahwan, Chairman of Suhail Bahwan Group, for many years. He is also a member of the Business Network International (BNI) Cochin Chapter.
Family
Tomy’s better half is Joisy Tomy, a homemaker. Their daughter Sneha Tomy is married to Jopaul who is a Mechanichal Engineer with MBA. Sneha holds Master’s degree in Finance. Sneha works as a Tax Consultant with Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC) and Jopaul works with Security Quotient. They are settled in Perth, Australia. Their son, Sebin Tomy, a BTech holder, is a software engineer with Leapcodes at Infopark, Kochi.”
