An entrepreneur with a flair for acting, Prasanth Nambiar is well known in the socio-cultural circuit of NRIS in Salalah. He is serving as the General Manager of Salik General Trading Company in the coastal city.
Prasanth belongs to Nadapuram in Kozhikode District, where he was born as the son of A Raghavan Nambiar and Padma Raghavan. After schooling, he did his undergraduate studies in Commerce. He pursued a Diploma in Electrical Engineering at Central Technical College in Kozhikode before joining Hyundai as an apprentice in Sree Perumbathoor in Chennai. It was in 1996 that he got a chance to work in the Gulf. He began his innings in Sharjah, UAE, in 1996. Between 2000 and 2007, he worked in several showrooms. In 2007, he reached Oman, where he worked for Baabood LLC initially as a Salesman. He continued there until 2012, when he joined Electro Mechanical Services. In 2013, he was promoted to Showroom Electrical Manager. He started Salik General Trading Company LLC Salalah in 2024 .

Family and Passion
Prasanth is married to Archana Prasanth, who is a faculty member at the Indian School Salalah. They are blessed with two daughters. The elder child, Bhagialakshmi, is studying in Bangalore for forensic science and the younger one, Bhuvanalakshmi, is a Class V student. When he is not occupied with business matters, he loves to pursue his passion for theatre. A versatile artist, he was declared the best actor during the Sargavedi Natakolsavam drama fete in 2025. Quite active in the social circuit, Prasanth was the Cultural Secretary of Indian Social Club Malayalam Wing from 2023 to 2024. Though he stood for election and won the following year, he had to quit because of his official responsibilities.
